What is hard OLED vs soft OLED?
Soft OLEDs are a little more expensive, but are closer to OEM performance and more resilient to shock. Hard OLEDs are a better value, perform nearly as well as an OEM screen, but are a little more fragile so take care when installing. Also the hard OLED has a slightly larger border between bottom of display and frame.
Note: True Tone functionality is disabled after a screen replacement, even when using an original Apple screen. Earpiece speaker needs to be transfered from original screen to new screen.
